Not all private detectives are proficient in undercover work. It takes a certain kind of investigator with vast experience and a number of businesses and situations. 

It’s like being an actor only there’s no script, no do overs, and if you get one thing wrong, you can totally blow your cover. 

Not only is Detective Brian Matthews a licensed pilot, he’s attended UCLA studying drug and alcohol addiction counseling, he’s owned a number of businesses, and has employed hundreds of people before he even became a private investigator at the age of 28. 

For example, difficult process service might require some sort of ruse to lure the subject out in the open in order to effectuate service process.

There are many examples where a PI needs to make certain that he has his cover story down pat. 

We are happy to provide drone surveillance services which has proved helpful in missing persons cases because they can cover a lot more ground from a couple hundred feet in the air. We are currently the only detective agency that we know of that can legally provide this kind of service. 

Although LA Undercover has been newly formed, it’s owned by LA Intelligence, a private detective agency that has been serving Southern California for almost 15 years.
